Thomas H. Castle Jr., MD

Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon

Raised in New England, Dr. Castle graduated with Honors from Dartmouth College in 1978.  He received his Doctorate of Medicine degree and Orthopaedic residency training at the University of Connecticut. After completing his year as Chief Resident, he completed his Fellowship training in knee and shoulder surgery in Cincinnati. Dr. Castle is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and has been practicing in Bellevue since 1988. Dr. Castle's patients enjoy his sense of humor and clearly realize how much he loves his work.

A former all-state gymnast and hurdler, his practice focuses on sports medicine and knee/shoulder arthroscopy. He particularly enjoys the challenge of new patients with ongoing knee problems who have had previous surgeries elsewhere. Dr. Castle is past Chief of Staff of Overlake Hospital and remains a member of the Board of Trustees. Volunteer activities include his current role as President of the Bellevue High School Football Booster Club; having served as team Doctor since 2000. He lives in Bellevue with his wife and three children.
