Proliance Highlands (MRI) - Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a noninvasive medical imaging technique that assists with the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions affecting muscle, bone, cartilage and tendons. Unlike CT scans and x-rays, MRI does not expose patients to radiation.
Proliance Highlands MRI is located in Issaquah, within the Proliance Highlands Medical Center. We are one of only a handful of practices in the Seattle area to possess a GE Signa HDe 1.5T MRI, the same model selected for use with injured athletes at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
Our MRI produces outstanding image quality, enabling our physicians to make timely, accurate diagnoses. And true to our “green” philosophy, it's among the most energy-efficient MRI systems available.
This cutting-edge MRI uses 8-channel processing that not only increases the quality of the image, but acquires those images much more quickly than the typical 4-channel MRI. This means our patients are more comfortable and spend less time in the MRI.
