Peter R. Mandt, MD
Arthroscopic and Reconstructive Surgery of the Knee, Shoulder and Ankle, and Sports Medicine
Dr. Mandt is a Board-certified, fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the knee and shoulder, with a special focus on ligament reconstruction and cartilage repair surgery.
Dr. Mandt is a native of the Seattle area and worked as a ski instructor and with Ski Patrol in high school and college. He earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Washington, graduating summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. He completed his internship and residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at U.C. San Diego and went on to sports medicine fellowship training in sports medicine and knee surgery at UCSD and with Dr. Richard Steadman of the Steadman-Hawkins Clinic. From 1989 to 2000, he served as a team physician for the United States Ski Team.
Residing on Mercer Island, Dr. Mandt has four children and enjoys skiing, golf, and woodworking.
